International football in north Wales. No, really.

11 09 2012

With this week being international week I thought I’d get in the spirit by showing you some of the photos I took a couple of weeks ago. …….Thanks to the bloody FAW and bloody Platini these are the only photos of international football I’ll be taking for the foreseeable future……AHEM!!!

The main highlight of the two under 16 friendly matches…

Yeah man!! Two under 16 friendly matches!!! YEAH NOT ONE BUT TWO!!!! You know, I mean just how could they spare them in south Wales?? How could they deprive Newport of the “honour”?…………..JESUS CHRIST. TWO FUCKING UNDER 16 FRIENDLY MATCHES, THAT’S ALL THEY THINK WE’RE WORTH IS IT? JESUS, I HATE THOSE FUCKING TWATS IN BLAZ……” AHEM!!!

Let’s try to start again. Wales were soundly beaten in both matches so my main highlight was……..,

………………yes count them, ONE , TWO. Yes not one but TWO!!!! OH FANTASTIC CANCEL ALL YOUR PLANS NORTH WALES HAS TWO UNDER 16 FRIENDLIES…… AHEM!!!

………the main highlight was seeing Ian Rush in Colwyn Bay. Seeing Ian Rush wasn’t the only interesting thing about the matches, the sons of Gary Speed and Craig Bellamy played in them. Bloody Hell, Craig Bellamy is 2 years younger than me but he has a 15 year old son. Why do I feel old all of a sudden?….Yeah great!! Not only are the FAW preventing me from watching international football, they’re making me feel old too! ……AHEM!!!!

Anyway, at one point during the Colwyn Bay match one of the linesman raised his flag when he saw that Ellis Bellamy’ was several yards offside. When Ellis noticed the raised flag he showed everyone that he had “the desire”, the quintessential quality needed to be a professional footballer. In other words 15 year old Ellis shouted “That’s Poor!!” at an adult linesman that had made a correct decision.

It will be interesting to see if any of the players from these matches make it in the future. On that note remember the name Lloyd Humphries and remember where you heard it first.
