Welsh Premier. com reports; “EXTRA security has been put in place for Saturday’s Welsh Premier clash between North Wales coast arch-rivals Bangor City and Rhyl.” North Wales on edge

Daniel Dyer sends e-mail. North Wales fears

11:00.The big day has arrived. Stanley was being sharpened, Ammonia was being poured into JIF Lemon Juice containers, razor blades were being applied to 50 pence pieces and nails were being hit through golf balls.

An eerie silence had descended on North Wales. Were its people quietly contemplating today’s carnage? Were they preparing themselves for the gutters streaming with blood?  North Wales was worried sick

11.35 Game called off due to it’s overbearing weight of importance, and the waterlogged pitch. North Wales heaves a sigh of relief and lives to fight another day.

4:15 The floodlights gently swayed, the advertising hoarding gently rose; it was just another breezy day at Llandudno’s Maesdu Park. Wondering whether the floodlights would land on the subs was the sole interest. I missed the first half luckily.
